Introducing Gunner Eric Griffin!

Well....we did it! After 17 hours and 16 minutes of excruciating pain, Nate and I are now proud parents!

Gunner was born on July 5th, 2009 at 6:18 PM. I fell so deeply in love with him the moment I saw his perfect litle body! He came out weighing 7 lbs. 8 oz. and he was 19.75 inches long...PERFECT! I am so excited to be a mommy!

Gunner had his first appointment today and the doc. said that he is doing GREAT! In fact, most babies lose weight the first week or two of life, but my little guy has already gained 3 oz.! He LOVES to eat, just like his mommy! Anyway, here are some pictures.

The Baby Shower

I had my baby shower on Sunday, May 24th. Thank you to everyone who came!

It was an amazing party. My mom did a great job hosting it, thanks mom!

It was so much fun, I got to see so many people that I have not seen in years. Not to mention that Nate, Baby and I recieved pretty much everything we could ever want! I am so lucky to have so many awesome people in my life!

Now that I have everything that we need for the baby and the nursery is all set up....I am so bored! Hurry up and wait!

34 Weeks 4 Days pregnant!

Well, today is Tuesday, May 26th. That means that I am 34 weeks and 4 days pregnant!

Baby Griffin is due to make his grand entrance on July 3rd, 2009. Nate and I are both extremely anxious and excited! We can't wait to meet our little man!

Thus far the pregnancy has gone great. No problems what-so-ever. I am healthy (perhaps too healthy as I have already gained 37 lbs. and still have 5 weeks!). The baby is doing great as well. We have passed all tests that the doc. has given us...with flying colors in fact! He is growing steadily and his heart beat has been consistent and strong.

Apparantly the baby has moved into his final head down position and is getting ready to make his way into the world. At this point almost all of his development is complete and he is just putting on some weight in there!

Nate and I enjoy laying in bed at night watching the little guy drag body parts across my tummy, it is always interesting trying to guess what body part it is!

The pregnancy seemed so surreal to us, but now that I am almost constantly feeling the little guy move it is hitting me more and more. I am already so in love with the little guy...it is amazing that I already love him so much. We just can't wait to meet him!
